Light ruby in color, the nose has copious smoky mineral, a touch of fresh tobacco and cherry scent. Light medium in body, with a broad mouth feel and good acidity, fine tannins provide very good structure and focus. The flavors are slightly herbaceous and very savory, with a great deal of saliva-inducing mineral. The finish is well-balanced, firm and reserved, and has very good length.
